I’m still buzzing after an incredible dinner at Claro. If you’re looking for a dining experience in Tel Aviv that feels like a true escape, this is it. The food is genuinely exceptional—you can taste the 'farm-to-table' freshness in every dish, with local ingredients elevated to a world-class level. But what really shocked me was the service. It’s super professional, polished, and attentive, which honestly feels like a breath of fresh air compared to the usual 'casual' standard you find in Israel. They really know how to host here. We sat in the outdoor area, and it was pure magic. Between the historic stone architecture of the Sarona complex and the soft lighting, it felt exactly like sitting in a gorgeous, sophisticated piazza in the heart of Europe. I’ll be honest: it is expensive. You’re definitely going to pay more here than at your average bistro, but in this case, you are truly paying for quality. Between the impeccable service, the atmosphere, and the sheer talent in the kitchen, it is worth every shekel for a special night out. I can’t recommend it enough.

I had lunch there on a weekday and had a great experience. The location is very central, just a few steps from the light rail station. It’s set inside an old stone house in the Sharona compound, which gives it a rustic countryside feel. The food was outstanding—very unique and exclusively locally sourced. The service was excellent as well. Our waitress was very knowledgeable, explained the dishes in detail, and helped us choose the right pairings. It’s definitely not cheap, but it’s a great choice for an upscale dining experience.

Absolutely gorgeous design that makes you feel as if you're on a vacation in Europe. Food and service are also good. Their dish of pork belly with pomelo is one of my favourite dishes in Israel. Only issue is that over the years the prices keep getting higher and higher. I understand that raw materials don't cost the same as 5+ years ago but when most of the main dishes are around 130-150 ILS you understand that the price increase is not only due to operational costs.

Thursday afternoon visit. Very balanced flavors. The beef tartare — perfect. The gratin it is served with — superb. We got it to share, next time we won’t do that mistake and every guest will get their own. The octopus very very nice. And beautiful. The tomatoes carpaccio — very refreshing. Good for sharing. Quite simple, yet very good. For me, personally, there wasn’t enough salt. But I’m heavy on salt in general. The lamb cigar, though very simple and very (2 pcs, we were warned in advance) small — amazing. The pork was the only position we may have made a mistake with. We were warned in was fatty. But it was too much. The sauce it was served with, however — very good. The fried crispy onion — really crunchy and tasty. In general, very nice experience. I’ve read about the place and thought it would be more on the official, fancy side. It wasn’t, and it was nice. Easy, positive, smiling and honest. Money-wise around 900NIS (not including tips, and, yes, including two bottles of the simplest prosecco they’ve got) We’ll be back for more. Recommended!
