I personally really liked this place. I'm not sure why the bed reviews. I had the nami deluxe and it's huuuuge, delicious, and excellent in price. my mother had the salmon and shrimp which was also quite good. the food needs a little more salt for me but that's an easy fix and personal preference. mother on the hand thought it was perfect. do yourself a favor and get the cheesecake tempura. All in all, Id put it right on par with Saitos and Benihana except better pricing.

First time at Nami Japanese Restaurant, and honestly, I was impressed. Came in expecting a decent teppanyaki meal, walked out very happy. Let’s start with the teppanyaki. The chef clearly knows what he’s doing — good timing, no rushing, no overcooking. Steak was cooked perfectly, juicy and flavorful. Chicken was tender, not dry at all. Seafood was super fresh, especially the shrimp and scallops — zero fishy taste. The fried rice was on point too, flavorful without being greasy. Now the sushi — better than I expected. Fish was cut nice and thick, not paper-thin like some places. Salmon and tuna tasted fresh and clean. Rice texture and seasoning were just right, which tells me they actually care about quality here. Service was solid. Staff was friendly and attentive without hovering. Water refills, clearing plates, checking in at the right times — all smooth and professional. The restaurant itself is clean and comfortable. The teppanyaki area has a great vibe. Perfect for a night out with friends, family dinner, or even a date. Prices are fair for the quality , definitely worth it. Overall, if you’re looking for a place that does both teppanyaki and sushi right, Nami is a great choice. I’ll definitely be back and would recommend it to anyone.

Do not go to this place. I had eaten there years ago and it was excellent. Today for lunch we went there and the service was terrible and the restaurant was empty. We were the only ones there and the waiter was preoccupied with another matter and seemed disinterested in us. Then we found a bug in the miso soup and the waiter did not say anything about it and just brought out salads instead. It was a disappointment from start to finish and I would urge you never to go there.

Came here for my birthday dinner. Their food and drinks are pretty good. Hibachi chicken and shrimp was seasoned and delicious. Reasonable prices would definitely be eating here again.
