Black Iron

Absolutely outstanding in every way! We had not visited Israel (from London)in a long time and this was first on our list and for good reason. The wagyu was perfection, the sous vide a delight and the desserts were little drops of heaven. Every mouthful was a treat. The owner Yaron was so friendly and came over to chat to us. Service and staff were also fantastic. Can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend Black Iron.

One of the best steakhouses I've been to! Firstly, very easy for those who speak only English as wait staff are very happy to converse. Secondly, atmosphere is great and staff are very very friendly! The owner's active conversations and support in the restaurant puts great confidence that this place will turn out well for years to come! Next, the steak! Oh my, I've never had a beef fillet this tender and tasty! You don't even need any accompaniments - it tastes best on its own! The chunky "fries" are roasted whole potatoes which are excellent, though slightly burnt (I like it, but you may not). The dessert was also fantastic! However, my only gripe is that the fillet was medium- medium well when I asked for Med Rare. Though I admit, it is very difficult to do an MR on a small portion. I'd come back any day!

We visited Black Iron and were absolutely blown away. It was honestly the most delicious meat we have ever tasted! The wine was perfectly paired – a true gastronomic delight. A special and huge thank you goes to our waiter, Yaniv. He truly made our evening! Thanks to his professional recommendations, we enjoyed amazing main courses, the best wine we’ve ever had, and finished the dinner with a wonderful dessert. If you go there, definitely ask for Yaniv — he is a true master of his craft. I recommend this place 100%!

We come to israel often, eat out majority of the time. Not sure how I have not been to black iron in all the years traveling here. Could be the best dinner to date. Food is outstanding, the service equally on par. Yaniv helped us tonight , guy made recommendations after hearing what we like and how we like it , guy was spot on. Every dish hit hard, we will hands down be back. This could be the top place in Jerusalem.

The food is solid. The menu is creative, the drinks were delicious. The meat butter was delicious and something I've never seen before. The chimmichuri was very good and fresh. I would certainly try it again. The service was excellent.
