I looked forward to trying several different restaurants during our stay in TelAviv but we only ate at Darya because it was so good! It is worth trying it just for the view alone. The restaurant is in the Hilton TelAviv. It has fairly limited seating so make sure you get reservations and make sure you request a table by the window. We went both nights in time to catch the sunset. They have a great wine selection and my wife found a cab she loved. We started with the bread with the eggplant dip and spicy salsa. It is delicious. We followed it up with the spicy yellowtail tuna sashimi. Neither were that spicy but odd do good. WE shared the sea bass both nights as well and it was plenty of food for both of us. There were so many different flavors and textures it was great. The fish has a nice Smokey flavor to it. We ordered the strawberry dessert. It was very creamy but was non dairy. If you ever get a chance try this place - you will thank me.

Worth 4.5 The food is very good but at this level of price it should be more of a surprise. Some other restaurants are more creative or interesting The place itself in the Hilton is very classic in his décor but lacks any charm. You feel that it can be used for many functions according to the needs of the hour. Obviously very little choice in the beer department and it is all about wine. We had Tuna Soba for first course. I thought it was very interesting with some mix of flavor I never encountered before. Small dish but worth it. We also had the barbari bread. Nothing special except for the black Tahina which was new to me For main course we had the smoked beef shoulder. It is a dish for two, which you assemble on your own, the meat, the salads , all in a pita. Probably something special for tourists but a lot more common for Israelis used to falafels and shawarma. Anyway a good dish but a bit disappointing. The meat was good but not amazing. Very good on the outside with the nice smoked taste but not that good on the inside with a boiled meat texture. Also the vegetables and salads were very plain. Finally the fallude for desert. Great presentation, great taste. Very refreshing. Great food but should be even more special.

A bit ambivalent... The food was good but not great. The service was nice and pleasant until some point. The parking is free but u have to park downstairs, take an elevator, go outside, take another elevator and then u get there. The prices fair. The decorating nice but too dark to see. The view suppose to be great but there are no lights outside to see. High expectations can disappoint u...

We celebrated our anniversary and I can say that Darya clearly was a great choice. The starters were very special with variety of spices moving to delicious mains (we order the fish and the meat skewer). Thanks for an amazing experience and evening. We have no doubt we will come again!
