Nini Choo

Nice ambiance, but unfortunately the experience fell far below expectations. When we arrived to Nini Choo (reserved a table beforehand), our table wasn’t clean and had to be wiped after we were already seated. Service throughout the evening was painfully slow, even though the restaurant wasn’t busy. At one point, several waiters were standing aside chatting while I was raising my hand trying to get someone’s attention. The pricing is also hard to justify for the quality of the food. The Korean ramen tasted nothing like ramen — it was closer to a sun-dried tomato soup with about five small rice cakes (and the toppings didn't add much in any way to the dish IMO). When I mentioned the taste, the waiter tried to defend the “authenticity” of the dish, but it didn’t seem like he was actually familiar with how it should taste. The other ramen we ordered was good (though still overpriced), and it ended up being the only highlight of the meal. The special sushi roll I ordered was surprisingly plain and disappointing, especially considering the price. Overall, while the atmosphere is nice, the slow service and underwhelming food make it difficult to justify returning

Atmosphere was great, food was phenomenal and decently priced. The service was amazing! Shani in particular was great! Thanks for a great experience. Highly recommend!

The place is nice. Good atmosphere, pleased background music. But all other aspects not good enough . The food not tasty at all. Feeling that is no salt in any dish. We order one first and 2 main dishes. The second main dish was served only after we finished first and one of the mains.

This was our second visit to Nini Choo. This time we went with friends. We shared a number of terrific starters: large crispy vegetarian spring rolls, tempura vegetables, sushi, meat gyoza, and a beef ban (a bun with a steamed roll). We had beer and a pitcher of warm Saki. Coincidentally, three of us selected the same main course, a wok dish with broad rice noodles, mushrooms and beef. All the dishes were tasty and fun. Our friends haven't stopped thanking us for introducing them to this restaurant. Parking in a garage across the street, with a discount for patrons of the restaurant. There is also a takeout counter.

Atmosphere score could have been a 5, but greeters didn't understand why a table with two adult couples didn't want to be seated near a family with 3 kids who were rolling around the floor.
