Paris Texas

My recent visit to Paris Texas in downtown Toronto was very disappointing overall. The venue was overcrowded and excessively loud, making it hard to enjoy the night. Drinks were far more expensive than other upscale bars in the area, which already set a negative tone. Service was inconsistent. One server was rude and repeatedly added a 25% gratuity on the payment terminal without clearly asking, which felt unprofessional. Although another server handled the situation politely and professionally, it did not offset the overall poor service experience. The coat check service was particularly frustrating. It was overpriced, and guests were kept waiting over 20 minutes to retrieve their coats. On top of that, staff were asking for additional tips despite the long wait times. If you wanted your coat back quickly and skip the line, you were expected to pay even more. It felt like an unnecessary money-making tactic rather than proper customer service. Cleanliness and hygiene were also below expectations, and the washrooms were small and not well maintained. Too many aspects were lacking to justify anything higher than a two-star rating.

We had a great time here and Margaret was our bartender and she was so sweet. Coming back not only because of the good food and drinks but because of Margaret too! She is literally the sweetest girl. 🫶🏼 thank you

My experience at Paris Texas was nothing but amazing. With Ben behind the bar i knew there was never a drink that wouldn't be the best I've ever had. Ben ensured great service, great vibes, and a great time. Will be sure to visit again.

If you like to be country but not actually be country then this is the best place for you! All workers are super good looking so match their vibe! Amazing DJ and very good quality drinks.

We went for their happy hour (5-8pm) as we were bar hopping along King St! Their food and drinks are definitely worth the happy hour pricing 🙂‍↕️ Our server was friendly, kind and quick! We asked to sit outside as it’s finally patio season - the seats were comfy and the area is very spacious. Since it was still a bit bright out, the bar wasn’t too busy, so the atmosphere was quiet and calm instead of lively. Loved the southern vibes tho! I would be down to visit later at night to try their dinner menu :)
