Wow!
We waited 40 minutes in a long line but it was worth every minute. The best carbonara I've ever had, the tender meatballs in a tomato sauce were absolutely delicious. The tiramisu was perfect! The best start to a...

Great food and experience. Went early to beat the lines and well worth the trip. Everything was great, from the Carbonara to the Meatballs, and tried some of the other offerings like ricotta cheese to the lamb chops. Tiramisu is extra special with Nocciolq in it!

Enzo al 29 in Trastevere fully deserves its reputation. Excellent Roman cuisine, prepared with care and consistency. The pasta dishes are outstanding, ingredients are high quality, and portions are satisfying without excess. Service is fast, efficient, and professional, even when the place is busy. The atmosphere is lively and genuinely Roman, not tourist driven. A reliable benchmark for traditional Roman food in Trastevere. Strongly recommended.

Was looking for a place to eat and found this place with about 15 people waiting in line, that's a clue. It is very tight quarters inside. Our waiter (I did not get his name), made a wonderful suggestion for meatballs and pasta with the house red wine. Service was fast, food was delicious. I love tiramisu which did not disappoint.

By now it’s very clear that there is no universal experience in Rome. I’ve seen people going to amazing restaurants and having a terrible experiences or the opposite. In anyway, WE LOVED da Enzo. We got the last table (around 10pm), and since it was late we waited like 10min only. The food was ABSOLUTELY amazing! We order a Caccio and Amatriciana. Plus the burrata and Tiramisu for dessert. The service was nice, a bit inpatient like any other Rome establishment, but the meal was 100% worth it! If you had a bad time there I guess it was an exception! Only downside was the amount of fees and extras they charge. €3 for tap water, 3€ for breads + €3 olive oil, and 3€/service per person. I mean.. Even tho, amazing place, real rough cookers, legit Italian experience, very good.

If you’re in Rome, you have to try Enzo, it’s a must. It’s a very small shop, so be there early to avoid waiting in line. The Carbona was really out of the world, had the best of the best sauce, out of the many restaurants we have tried. It wasn’t too saucy so it wouldn’t be too greasy / too much for the stomach. The wait was definitely worth it. Paired it with red wine and it was really great as well. Plan to squeeze in for a bit as the restaurant is always crowded and seats are limited. It’s a gem in Rome, a vibe. Must visit.
