Japanese restaurant. Very original and interesting menu. The problem for us was that we didn’t understand the menu so we had to ask our waiter again and again, who coped with us very well. The tailor made cocktails were excellent and so was the waiter’s willingness to go back into the kitchen again and again to get answers for our questions about ingredients used in the dishes which we were curious about. Eating here at lunchtime granted us 20% discount.

⭐ 1/5 – Rude, chaotic service that ruins the entire experience The positive reviews for AZIA 19 are genuinely puzzling. While the food itself was acceptable, the service was disgraceful and outright hostile. We were a table of four, hosting visiting guests. After a reasonable start with drinks and starters, everything fell apart. Our four main courses arrived one by one—the first plate served alone, the second about four minutes later, and the final two nearly fifteen minutes after that. By the time everyone was eating, the first dish was cold. There was no apology, no explanation, and zero accountability when I questioned why the meals weren’t served together. The manager’s behavior was even worse. He repeatedly walked past our table physically bumping into my arm, never once apologizing. After we ordered dessert, he came over and bluntly announced: “You need to leave in 10 minutes, I need your table.” Not a request. Not an apology. A demand. This is unacceptable in any restaurant, but especially at a place that charged over NIS 1,300 for the evening. At that price point, one expects basic courtesy, professionalism, and respect for guests. None were provided. My guests were unimpressed, I was embarrassed as a host, and the overall experience was poor from start to finish. Despite the hype, I would not return and will actively avoid recommending AZIA 19 to anyone looking for a kosher restaurant in Jerusalem. One star. Spend your money elsewhere.

The food, atmosphere, service, and overall quality are truly unmatched. I’ve had Japanese cuisine all over the world and in many places throughout Israel, but the experience at Azia 19 stands out as exceptional. The level of quality is outstanding, and the chef team absolutely deserves a round of applause 👏🏼. Keep up the incredible work! If you’re in Jerusalem, this is a must-try spot that should be at the top of your list.

The ambience was cool. The service good. The problem was that that food, while good, was so small in quantity that in order to full even close to full you have to take out a second morgage. Very poor value for the price. I understand that they are trying to be upscale but i shouldn't leave feeling teased and hungry
