Bar Yam

TL;DR: Excellent service, average food, questionable value. We arrived on Sunday evening to celebrate a birthday and were expecting a more special experience. To be fair, the service was super polite, warm, and attentive, definitely the strongest part of the evening. Food wise, the experience was mixed. The focaccia was tasty but quite salty, which we assumed was intentional. The green ceviche was nice, the acidity helped balance the flavors and overall it worked well. The salmon sashimi, however, was swimming in too much soy sauce, though it was still acceptable. Unfortunately, things went downhill after that. We sent back an intermediate dish that was extremely salty, and the main course, the Linguini del Porto, was also overly salty to the point where we had to ask for an extra jug of water. Even after the kitchen tried to fix it, the saltiness remained and the dish was still hard to enjoy. On top of that, the prices are very much at central city levels, but the portions are relatively small for what you pay, which made the value hard to justify. In summary, great service and a pleasant atmosphere, but inconsistent food and high prices left us expecting more.

A perfect place for fish lovers, beautiful, grilled and cooked, excellent and fresh food, pleasant music, design, clean and wonderful service and thanks to Shira and Uri :) Nb No pictures because everything was devoured quickly
