Had a reservation and was sitting in our table within a few minutes. The staff were polite and attentive. Visited during NYC restaurant week on 1/31/26 they had a prix-fixe menu that offered an antipasti, entree and dessert which were all good portions and excellent flavors. The red bean soup was to die for specially on a cold winter night. The flavors exploded in my mouth. The bread bowl was perfect and the toasty bread gave it a nice balance. The Rigatoni vodka was delicious, creamy cooked to the right texture, had a spicy kick that I did not mind. The berry tart dessert with vanilla bean ice cream was light, smooth and not too sweet. Definitely will return again.

A very good place for a weekday lunch. They offer a nice menu at $25 (from 12:00 to 4:00 PM), which includes a starter, a main course, and a dessert. I had tomatoes as a starter — very fresh and juicy — followed by carbonara, which was excellent. For dessert, I had tiramisu; the flavor was good, though the coffee taste was a bit too strong for me. The waitresses were a bit too intense at times, but overall the service was fine. I recommend it!

Our team of ten had a fantastic holiday lunch at Bocca di Bacco. Another restaurant turned us away despite a reservation, but Bocca di Bacco welcomed us immediately and sat us without hesitation. Service was excellent from start to finish. The pre-fixe lunch was a great value and every dish was delicious. The eggplant meatballs were a standout and would make any vegetarian happy. Pastas, salads, and appetizers were all fresh and well-prepared. Our server, Regine, was outstanding. She was attentive, friendly, and quick to accommodate special requests like my low-oil order. Bocca di Bacco turned a disappointing situation into an exceptional team lunch. Highly recommend for groups, great service, and consistently excellent food.

Came here for restaurant week to enjoy their 3 course pre fix and to celebrate a birthday and it was a wonderful experience. The food was delicious. I started off with the eggplant melanzane and I would come back just for that dish. For my second I ordered the chicken with potatoes in a pesto sauce very nice and juicy and the pesto was smooth didn’t overwhelm the rest of the dish. Dessert only had 2 options and based on my tables opinions of the two they could have been better. Our waiter David was very attentive and kept our table hydrated and full with bread when we asked for it. He was also nice enough to bring an extra dessert when he found out my sister had a black berry allergy. Overall it was an 8/10.

This was, without exaggeration, the worst brunch I’ve ever had. To be clear, this is not a knock on our server. He was clearly set up to fail. He was the only person working the floor, and honestly, the restaurant should not have been open for the holiday under these conditions. I made a reservation through Resy and even called ahead to confirm that brunch would be served on New Year’s Day, since it’s typically only offered on weekends. I left a voicemail and the owner herself called me back to confirm that brunch would indeed be available. When we arrived, the restaurant had no record of our Resy reservation, despite it being the platform they use. We were seated anyway, which I appreciated, but things went downhill quickly. We were handed brunch menus (with lunch on the reverse), only to be told when ordering that brunch was not being served. On top of that, there was no bartender, so we were limited to basic cocktails. We ordered food and a round of Aperol Spritzes, a very simple drink. It took over an hour for the drinks to arrive, and when they did, they were just glasses of prosecco with ice and an orange slice. No Aperol. We had to ask for Aperol on the side to turn them into the drink we actually ordered. The food took another hour. During that time, the kitchen bell rang repeatedly, and the cooks even came out to the dining room to see what was causing the delay. When the food finally arrived, it was deeply disappointing. This place is usually known for its spicy vodka rigatoni, but what we received was cold and tasted rushed and sloppy. I could go on, but the bottom line is this: the experience was a mess from start to finish. I’ve been here many times before and had good meals, which made this visit even more frustrating. I was embarrassed to have brought friends who traveled up from Brooklyn for this. There are plenty of better options in the area. Had we not already ordered, we would have left, as several other diners did. My guess is that staffing completely fell apart after New Year’s Eve, leaving one non-drinking server to deal with the chaos alone. I didn’t catch his name, but he deserves credit. Management, on the other hand, completely dropped the ball.
