Cosme is a contemporary Mexican-inspired restaurant located in New York City's Flatiron District. It offers warm Mexican hospitality in a stylish, relaxed, and contemporary space with roomy dining tables. The restaurant is brought to you by the same team behind Pujol in Mexico City and Damian in Los Angeles, focusing on traditional Mexican techniques and seasonal products.
Customer perception is generally positive, with high praise for the unique flavors, excellent service, and stylish ambiance. The Pékin duck carnitas and Corn Husk Meringue are frequently highlighted as standout dishes. Guacamole and Maine Uni Tostada also receive strong recommendations. However, some customers note that portion sizes can be disappointingly small, especially given the price point, and some dishes are considered 'ok' rather than exceptional for the cost.
Cosme has been a part of the New York City dining scene for over 10 years, embracing the city with its unique culinary approach.
The restaurant is open evenings, typically from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM or 10:00 PM, Monday through Sunday. Given it's a busy place, making a reservation is highly recommended.
