Bridges is deserving of the buzz. A bit easier to get a reservation than before. All dishes were delicious and yet simple and thoughtful. We had the cured tuna, steak tartare, comte tart, grilled snapper, and braised lamb. I recommend all of them and can't wait to try the others. Service was warm, professional, and efficient. The vibe is more like a nice neighborhood bistro than a Michelin starred restaurant.
The only two negatives were that our table was cramped and a bit uncomfortable right next to the kitchen. Also the air conditioning was blowing directly on us and the food so everything got cold quickly.
Nonetheless, you should try Bridges - one of the best recent meals in NYC!
