El Boliche de Alberto is by far the best steakhouse in Bariloche. If you are looking for outstanding Argentine beef, this place is an absolute must. The steaks are of exceptional quality, perfectly grilled, and incredibly juicy — exactly how a great steak should be. The service is excellent and attentive. The staff is very friendly, welcoming, and makes you feel comfortable from the moment you arrive, without being intrusive. They are also happy to help with recommendations regarding the different cuts of meat and cooking points. The atmosphere is cozy and authentic, with a special highlight being the grill located right in the middle of the restaurant. Watching the grill masters at work adds to the experience and gives the place a truly traditional Argentine feel. A small but important tip for future guests: the side dishes are very, very large. Unless you have a huge appetite, it’s a good idea to share them — otherwise, you might run out of space for the amazing steak. It was the most delicious meat I’ve ever had in my life! Both the chorizo and the ribeye steak we ordered were absolutely incredible. Chef Gustavo and his teammate are truly talented. Gustavo himself took our order and was exceptionally attentive and kind – I’ve never met a chef who gives such personalized, VIP-level attention to his guests. The waiters were also incredibly friendly and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Thank you for everything, and keep that beautiful smile, Gustavo!

This place lived up to the hype in opinion. Absolute top quality Argentine meat at a solid price for the American traveler. Service is friendly and like you would expect in the region, extremely laid back. We sat down the minute they opened at 8pm and left after 10pm with no problem at all, despite people waiting. Everything was delicious.

Amazing place with nice staff and incredible food (meat). Surprisingly enough the chef comes out and take your order while the waiters take care of beverages and servings. Get there in time to get a table, we got there 15 minutes before they opened and there was already a line in front of us.

Great piece of steak, fast service and helpful waiters. I would recommend getting a salad instead of fries with your meat, its too much with both. Portions are very big. Good value with a glass of wine too, cheap if you dont want a full bottle. Also, either book a table or show up just when they open. It filled up very quickly.
