Garage really is a great spot to hang out and have some drinks. The variety of canned beer/cocktails they have is outstanding, including a wide variety of craft brews. It can handle a really big group on pretty much any night of the week. There are some food options here which are quick and convenient. It’s a great spot to watch a game. The skeeball is fun too. And it’s so close to all the other fun spots in Fishtown
Honestly, I've only been here over the years to drink and/or catch some music/dance. My rating is based on those experiences. Love their HUGE drink/beer selection and when it's not overpacked with people it can be fun. Can't recall ever eating here over the many years it's been open, so please check other reviews from folks who have dined here if you're looking for more information about their menu/offerings. It's a fun place and even when packed, seems chill and not super uptight or super crazy, but it can be a can of sardines certain weekends throughout the year, so be aware of that possibility before going in.
Truly could not say enough great things about this bar. Came in with friends for a bachelor party and had a blast. Had so much fun that I left my phone and wasn’t able to retrieve it before my early departure the next day lol. The team (shoutout Michael for going above and beyond) got it back to me without a hitch. It’s rare to have somebody help out a bar guest like that especially one that is from out of town and I’m super grateful to say the least. This bar made a lasting impression in the best way possible. Love the skeeball and love the staff, will definitely be back when I’m back in town! Cheers!
A bit of a mixed experience here. The drinks were fine, but service felt a little rushed, like they were eager to turn over tables even early in the evening. It wasn't bad, just not particularly welcoming for a solo traveler wanting to relax.
With a hipster vibe, this is a really great bar located in Northern Liberties/Fishtown section of Philly. Relatively cheap drinks, quick bartenders, good music, and few games such as skee ball and pool tables. Great place to catch a sixers game or meet up with friends for a drink. Popular on weekends but never too crowded that it’s not fun.
