Rudding Park Hotel, Harrogate

We had private dining for our Golden Wedding anniversary in the Jupiter room. The room looked was set out beautifully for our meal and the flowers on the table done by Colette at the hotel were stunning.. We celebrated with family and close friends. We had a special time. The food was excellent. The staff are so friendly, polite and helpful. A huge thank you to Sam who helped us to organise the whole thing and sorted a room out for us. To Erica and Sienna who served our meals, drinks etc during the evening. They did a brilliant job. The room was excellent as was the breakfast. Thank you to Joseph for making us feel so welcome too. Also to the lovely man, whose name has escaped me, my apologies, who helped us load our car with luggage, gifts and flowers.

We have visited Rudding park five times in the last six years and we keep coming back. It’s a luxurious treat for us, but worth every single penny. The service from staff is exceptional. Nothing is too much trouble, everything works seamlessly and changes or requests are handled with no issues whatsoever. It was our anniversary and many members of staff wished us a happy anniversary and little thoughtful touches were added to make the occasion even more memorable. The food and cocktails were delicious. We love clocktower for its ambiance and decor, and have previously dined at Horto and loved it there too. The rooftop spa is the best spa I have visited. A seamless combination of spa experiences and spaces to relax in perfectly kept gardens. We have left more relaxed than I’ve felt in a long time, and will definitely be returning again.

Excellent hotel and spa. Friendly and helpful staff. A shout out to Ella on Reception who was very attentive. Delicious food. Restful location. We did not want to leave. Warmly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay in the Gatekeepers luxury lodge at Rudding Park and would fully recommend it. We (a family of five with three boys aged 8, 11 and 13) were made to feel very welcome by the friendly and helpful staff. The lodge itself was amazing — spacious, comfortable and with just about every facility you could imagine. The on-site golf was a particular hit. Our boys hadn’t played much before, but they had an excellent lesson with Rory and enjoyed it so much that they were keen to go back and play every day. The family swimming times in the spa pool were another highlight, and we also really enjoyed eating at the Clocktower restaurant. We were looking to treat ourselves during a difficult time for our family, and the whole stay exceeded our expectations. We’d like to thank everyone at Rudding Park who helped make it such a special break for us. We very much hope to return in the future.

We stayed for 1 night at Rudding Park hotel which included a spa package. The hotel and ground were absolutely beautiful and everywhere was exceptionally clean! Our bed was so comfortable and we had a terrace outside. The bathroom also included a shower over a bath with 2 shower heads which I really liked as not all hotels have this. For an extra touch to the room we would have liked a long mirror. At one point the hairdryer wasn’t working well so we asked reception for a new one and they brought one promptly. All staff were friendly, helpful and polite. They made you feel special. The spa area was fabulous. It had a rooftop pool which was so lovely and hot and all around you there was beautiful greenery. The steam room, sauna, cold water bath and more were all great! We had treatments booked. ( myself a facial and body polish for my mam ) originally we were both put down for facials by the spa team before we arrived however we requested for 1 treatment to be a body polish. So through email it was confirmed. But once my mam was in the room the therapist said it was for facial so my mam waited 10 mins for them to get a new therapist for the treatment. She didn’t mind waiting at all, and the massage was nice enough but she did feel it was rushed and she was in the escape zone area 10 mins prior to when I came out of my treatment of 50 minutes which was meant to be the same time as mine. However we won’t let this put us off rudding park because the hotel and spa is fabulous and we had a fantastic time. We definitely recommend going to anyone who needs to relax in a great holiday.
