SHMONÉ NY. A True Culinary Experience, Not Just a Meal What an incredible night! My friend told me SHMONÉ was amazing, so we decided to walk in and grab two seats at the bar. Best decision ever. From the moment we sat down, the staff made us feel like regulars. Everyone was super friendly, professional and clearly passionate about what they do. The open kitchen setup is something special, it feels like you’re part of the show. The chef himself came over to chat with us, explained the specials and even served a few dishes directly from the kitchen to the bar. You can see and taste the creativity and care that goes into every plate. We had several small plates, each one beautifully presented and full of flavor. The fig salad was refreshing and perfectly balanced, the meat skewer was juicy and smoky, and the short rib absolutely unreal, melt- n your mouth good. Every dish looked like a piece of art. The atmosphere is cozy, elegant and energetic the kind of spot where you lose track of time and just enjoy great food, drinks, and conversation. Must-try: The short rib and the chef’s seasonal specials. Pro tip: Sit at the bar if you can — you’ll get the full SHMONÉ experience. A memorable dining experience from start to finish. Can’t wait to come back!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Last night at SHMONÉ felt like one of those perfect New York nights you wish you could replay again and again. We walked in early, thinking we’d just grab a quick dinner… and then four hours later, we were still sitting at the bar, eating, laughing, drinking, and watching this wild kitchen ballet happening right in front of us. 🔥 We had front-row seats — chefs flying, pans sizzling, olive oil dripping like gold. You could feel the energy. Everyone’s working hard but smiling, throwing jokes around, pouring martinis, and making it all look effortless. 🥯 We started with that famous Jerusalem bagel — warm, fluffy, olive oil and za’atar dripping off the edges — honestly, I could’ve stopped right there and called it a night. But then came the tuna, so fresh it practically winked at us, and the octopus, smoky and soft with those beans… unreal. 😋 The sweetbreads hit the table next — I don’t even know how to explain it — crispy, tangy, creamy, somehow a salad but not really a salad. The pistachio pesto pasta was so good we stopped talking for five minutes. 🥩 And then the 76-layer Wagyu. Oh my God. The waiter brought us challah after and said, “you’ll need this to soak up the juice,” and he was absolutely right — we cleaned that plate like it was the last supper. 🍷 Between bites and martinis, we kept saying, “just one more dish,” but we didn’t want to leave. Everything was shareable, everything was perfect, and every bite was better than the last. Must-haves: 🥩 Beef short rib ❤️ Sweetbreads 🐙 Octopus 🐟 Tuna 🥯 Jerusalem bagel If I could move in and sit at that bar every night, I would. This isn’t just dinner — it’s a whole New York moment. SHMONÉ, you got me. I’m hooked.

Five stars — without question. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, with great music that sets the mood just right. When we arrived, our table wasn’t ready yet, but the host was incredibly kind and suggested we wait at the wine bar next door. We were warmly welcomed there, had a lovely drink, and honestly didn’t mind the wait at all. Our server Anya was absolutely fantastic — knowledgeable, attentive, and full of warmth. She could tell us about every dish and drink in detail and made the whole evening feel special. The open kitchen is beautiful to look at, and it’s genuinely fun to watch the chefs work — the whole team is impressive. As for the food: everything was spot on. Our favorites were the tuna, grilled vegetables, beef rib, sweetbreads, and the lamb kebab. All were must-tries. Shmone isn’t flashy or over-the-top — it’s the kind of place you want to keep coming back to. I only wish I’d discovered it sooner. Already planning my next visit.
