Friday night visit to Six by Nico for their Seoul tasting menu. Good service from the team who were also quite engaging and attentive through the meal.
Atmosphere felt a bit like a fast food chain. Tables were quite tight and didn’t have an “elevated” impact while dining..
Food - some courses better than others. I wouldn’t rate it a 5 as some of the dishes were heavier on salt which impacted the flavor. Some dishes better than others.. decent portion sizes - you didn’t leave feeling hungry!
We visited Six by Nico Fitzrovia for the first time in many months (our last visit was before our daughter was born!) and had a wonderful evening.
The food was excellent, creative, and beautifully presented throughout. I chose the cocktail pairing and my husband the wine pairing, and both were fantastic complements to the menu.
The service was equally impressive – friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful. After such a long break, it was lovely to return and have such a great experience.
Thank you to the whole team. We had a fantastic time and look forward to coming back soon.

Overall a fantastic experience! We have been multiple times and it never disappoints. The service is always great, our waitress was very helpful and very in it.
The food was delicious, I highly recommend to anyone who wants a bit of a change and gives you the option to experience a really well thought out menu with so many complementary flavours.
We will be back.

Seoul at Nico took us on a seven-course journey through neon lights, smoky street food, ancient tradition, warmth, vibrant culture and comfort. Traditional kimchi and gochujang met modern techniques effortlessly, without losing the Seoul of Korean food. Sitting near the kitchen and watching the quiet, oiled choreography behind each dish made the experience even more special. Service was friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming throughout.
The Soju for the Seoul cocktail was refreshing (dangerously so) , with tangy, lightly sweet tones…honestly I could’ve had several. We opted for the opening pork belly dish, which immediately set the tone: melt-in-the-mouth pork, delicate kimchi cucumber, feather-light crispy perilla, and a house hot sauce I’d happily buy by the bottle (please?!).
Whilst the menu is a work of art, two dishes were in a close competition to be my personal favourite - the chicken consommé and the bibimbap. The consommé was deeply rich and comforting with gentle chilli warmth running through it — could genuinely have drunk a gallon of it. The bibimbap elevated something humble into fine dining without stripping away its identity: smoky seaweed, creamy truffled egg yolk, subtle pickles, waves of umami. The chilli quietly tied the whole menu together from start to finish.
The Bindaetteok pancake transported me straight into the vibrantly chaotic market alleys of Seoul, whilst the black pollock course felt cinematic — buttery, warming, coastal, comforting. Even the mussels won me over somehow, which generally is not touch.
Dessert finished things perfectly: light and subtly sweet doughnut ball, white chocolate and matcha crémeux, caramel crunch, vibrant colours and textures. Didn’t get loads of matcha personally, but still an amazing ending to a menu that captured Seoul through flavour, atmosphere, and emotion.
Hands down my favourite menu at Nico to date. Highly recommend.

First time here came with a friend and what an experience. It has been a long time since we have been to a restaurant where the people working there seemed to actually enjoy being there, shout out to Shannon who was just exceptional. The food is beautifully presented and tasted as good as it looked. We did the lost in Paris menu and from start to finish was excellent. The venue is beautiful and I love that the kitchen is open. I will definitely be keeping an eye on future menus to come again
