Trattoria Giglio Rosso was a wonderful find. It felt like the kind of restaurant native Catanians would go to. It had a great atmosphere, delicious food and a wonderful waitstaff. I highly recommend it!

Holy freakin cow, this place is unreal. Came here twice over a two week stay, both times walked up with 12-16 people and they sat us immediately. We’re americans, and didn’t speak Italian. The owner doesn’t speak English. DIDNT MATTER. He just brought plate after plate of the best seafood, pasta, and wine, and we had the greatest dining experience I have ever had both times. The carbonara was excellent, the ala Norma was the best pasta I have ever had hands down no contest. Do not miss this place, and don’t forget the calamari.

This local restaurant is amazing. My Catanese friend and me was there for a dinner.I can say that everything was amazing,foods,service,staffa behaviour. We tried some local dishes ,especially swordfish with honey and almond was amazing,after dinner they served us local almond wine as a gift ,was really delicious.I highly recommend that place for all tourist and other people🫠

Fantastic experience! We are so glad we came here. Our host Giuseppe welcomed us with so much kindness. He served us dinner picked by himself to let us taste different meals because we didn't know what to eat. Every meal was so tasty, fresh and well done. I recommend this place for everyone, you will be surprised how good it is. And big thanks for Giuseppe for hosting us and other crew for service 💜

The best restaurant we had in Catania, food was amazing, the stuffed sardines were excellent and the swordfish so well cooked. The owner was very friendly and even made us taste a homemade Marsala from his friend at the end. Highly recommended!
