This is definetely one of the best tourist and culinary experiences in all of Jerusalem. The historical market is very diverse, filled with restaurants and shops where you can find anything you like, from souvenirs, to traditional plates. It has a unique athmosphere and I absolutely recommend visiting it!
Wonderful cultural experience to try new foods and buy local fresh produce. Prices and qualiry vary from merchant to merchant. I made a mistake and bought strawberries at the merchant closest to the entrance. I should have walked further and would have found more for less. My suggestion walk around before purchasing it as they are multiple merchants selling the same items for different prices
I love guiding at the shuk! It is such a breath of fresh air seeing so many diverse cultures merge together through food. Highly recommend a visit if you are coming to Israel. And if you are looking for a guide - feel free to reach out😍
Maybe the most colorful markets in Israel (and one of the most in the world). People come here to buy food, to eat, to have drink with friends or just enjoy the atmosphere. Restaurants, bars, special vibe especially on Friday's noon which is very packed. Have attached light train station.
Great supply of wine spinners with a Jewish theme and other styles. Friendly owner. Lots of fun to drop by. On the opposite side of MY from the light rail.
