I love Neve Tzedek and I’m there often, but I’ve been intentionally avoiding this spot. A staff member was unexpectedly rude to a few of my friends, and I experienced the same thing once as well. The owners did try to apologize, but for me it came too late. I genuinely hope the place changes one day and becomes the kind of warm, good-vibes spot people want to be around.
A huge selection of desserts, pastries, breads, and sandwiches. Everything looks incredibly inviting and beautifully made. The quality is very high. The prices, however, are through the roof.
One of the best bakeries in Israel.
They offer great breakfast menu for take out, having the best outdoor places to be nearby (Susan Dallal or the beach), they also offer a picnic basket in weekdays (needs reservation)
Try their famous croissant bagel (with or without cheese)
Really high quality patisserie in Neve Tzedek. We had the iced chocolate, focaccia sandwich and almond croissant. I was pleasantly surprised by the iced chocolate because most of the cafes in Tel Aviv use milk chocolate or powder, and you end up with something quite sweet, rather than chocolatey, whereas here it was not too sweet at all. We spoke with the really friendly barista afterwards and she showed us that the chocolate drinks are made with a mixture of milk and dark chocolate, which is what I’ve been wanting to find in the city. It was slightly on the more bitter side but the thought behind the drink is there for sure. The focaccia was really fresh and simply well-made bread. The almond croissant was a good standard almond croissant, nothing too special about it. They have lots of outdoor seating, both right outside the bakery and across the road where there are picnic benches with plenty of shade. The staff were all very friendly and we had a positive experience there.
