Krispy Kreme

I’m personally not a big fan of the doughnuts, but my friend thoroughly enjoyed it. The service from staff was great.

Been here a couple of times now. I have the Krispy Kreme app and sometimes use my coupons. The first time, I went in for an original glazed dozen, unfortunately they didn’t have any left however the lady working there was apologetic. Got the donut bites instead, unfortunately they were stale and not that nice. Noticed I had both a welcome and a birthday free original glazed donut coupon on the app, so I went in January 22nd. I wasn’t sure I could cash both vouchers in at once, but the different lady working that day was absolutely lovely and said that was no problem at all. Unfortunately the app glitched while trying to bring my barcode up. She said that didn’t matter and that I could have the free donuts anyway. Thankfully it did load shortly after that so I could scan it, but I won’t forget her kindness. There is also no pressure to buy anything else when cashing in your free donut voucher, which I really appreciated. The donuts themselves were delicious- the softest ones I’ve ever had from Krispy Kreme. There is a smallish cafe and a few people were sitting in, but I just wanted mine to go. I think there’s also some sort of donut theatre where you can see the donuts being glazed, but I didn’t see it. Not sure if there are toilets, but it’s a shortish walk to the public toilets in the shopping centre this is based in. Would definitely return, but likely on weekdays when they don’t have the stock issues.

This review might be a little late, but here goes... Krispy Kreme at St James' shopping centre looked peculiar on the inside, in the nicest way possible. I loved the decor and the hogwarts donuts. I'm hoping to eat in it one day. However... I hope the employees have actually switched to wearing hairnets this time. I took a bite out of a donut and pulled a long hair out my mouth. yikes.

Popped in for a quick snack and ended up really enjoying it. The doughnuts taste way better than the ones from Tesco. They’re soft, fresh and full of flavour. The price was surprisingly cheap for how good they were. The staff were warm and friendly from the moment we walked in. What really stood out was that they offered free ice water, properly cold and refreshing. That’s something you don’t always get and it made a big difference. The toilet was clean too, which is always appreciated. Will definitely be back. Great value, great people and genuinely tasty food.

Kids popped in to get some doughnuts but were disappointed that they couldn’t use a gift card from Ireland. Normal Krispy Kreme location with minimal seating inside, high prices for doughnuts, fun theme, and the usual variety of flavors.
