Ma Daisy'S Porch

The place is so beautiful. First time visiting this past Friday (7/24) with family and it is such a vibe and relaxing! We went for lunch/brunch, and from the second we walked in, everyone was so welcoming. Our server was attentive, kind, and just great. We sat on the patio and the views of the grounds/compound are gorgeous. And the food? So good. My only regret is that we didn't have time to check out the museum or the bakery, but I'm definitely going back!"

It was something about the name and the distinctive look that made me choose this place as I was vacationing in the area. Just know it did not disappoint. From the atmosphere, the decor, the staff, the food, and the dessert everything was amazing. You literally could taste the love and care in the food and the fresh baked desserts from the onsite bakery. Whenever I’m in the area again, I definitely will make certain Ma Daisy’s Porch is the first place I go.

We visited Chef B’s on a Sunday afternoon so we could try the Brunch menu. We didn’t have reservations so we sat at the bar to avoid a wait. The service was great and food was delicious. The Crab fries were amazing and we really enjoyed the Da Biddie Plate (Fried Chicken and Waffles). Zach Sanders kept us groovin with his amazing R&B tunes on his saxophone. This place was a whole vibe and we left happy and full.

I loved this property. Service was great! We ordered Fried Okra, Wing Tingz, Da Biddie Plate, Fish & Grits. Everything was delicious 😋 The bakery in the back was amazing! I was also happy to see they had fresh cold pressed juices. If I'm ever back in Hilton Head I'll definitely stop by and recommend to others.

While staying in Hilton Head, a Bluffton local working there suggested this place and we are so glad she did! Our server, Alanna, was amazing. The sweet potato butter with the biscuits was out of this world. The Da Biddie plate fried chicken and potatoes were perfection. Sweet potato waffle was delish. The jerk ranch with fried okra was to die for. Big Country burger with parm string fries were good. Grilled lamb chops were amazing as well as the fried egg and potatoes. As a Southerner, I'm picky about southern food, but this Gullah cuisine did not disappoint. We will definitely be back!
