Bel Ami cracked the code
What a restaurant. What service. What aromas. What flavors.
🥖Beef tartare, shallot, horseradish and chili. Maybe the best I've ever eaten. The horseradish was delicate and pleasantly spicy.
🥖Tuna sashimi with avocado. Wonderfully fresh fish, excellent sweet and spicy sauce. Killer!
🥖Onion soup with Gruyère, a little chives, and a piece of baguette inside. French, warm, comforting, deep. A soup that is a warm hug.
🥖Bruschetta with chicken livers and shallot. At first, I was worried the dish would remind me of the onion soup above, but no, the livers were melt-in-your-mouth, incredibly delicious. We ate slowly so it wouldn't end.
🥖Denver skewer, soft and melt-in-your-mouth, cooked to an excellent doneness.
🥖Pici pasta with morel mushrooms, butter sage, black pepper, and Parmesan - an excellent dish.
And the baguette, oh, the baguette.
For dessert, mille-feuille, delicate in its flavors. I expected the pastry to be a bit crispier, but that truly pales in comparison to this excellent meal.
A glass of vermouth, a glass of red wine, and a soft drink.
808 NIS not including service.
In short, if you don't find me in the coming week, I'm probably standing at the entrance to Bel Ami, waiting for them to open a fan page. Bring water.
