New fine dining restaurant (May 2025) located in an impressive hotel with an amazing private garden which also contains many of the herbs they use. The dining area is much simpler and minimalist comparing the hotel, very nice and pleasant to sit in. I chose the "Emozioni" menu of 7 courses. The food was very well executed, delicate, fresh, tasty and elegant. The staff was super nice. In my opinion Da Lorenzo deserves 1 Michelin star.

Amazing restaurant tucked away in a far corner of Venice. Worth the taxi or long walk. A broad range of flavors blending the chef's Italian background with love of Japanese cuisine. Evening started with a consume served in beautiful china tea set and finished with a one of kind Panna Cotta. Must try restaurant.

Da Lorenzo in Venice was outstanding — easily on par with several Michelin-starred restaurants we’ve visited. Every dish was beautifully executed, with exceptional ingredients, flawless execution, and refined, perfectly balanced flavours. The attention to detail was evident throughout. The service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, making the whole experience feel special without any unnecessary formality. In a city full of options, Da Lorenzo truly stands out. We would happily return just to dine here again.

Recently dined at Da Lorenzo on the advice of a Venetian acquaintance and had one of the best meals of my life. Getting to Cannaregio from our hotel in Dorsoduro is about a 40-minute trip, but was 100% worth it. What I appreciated about Da Lorenzo is not just the food, which is delicious, creative, and well prepared — but the overall experience, service, and atmosphere. While the room we were seated in had relatively austere decor, the warmth of the staff was a delightful contrast. Maitre d' Andrea, sommelier Lorenzo, and server Vioria were friendly and welcoming, not stuffy at all. We had the 7-course tasting menu, mostly because I'm not a big fan of the squab featured on the 11-course menu. We're also not big drinkers, so opted for wines by the glass for three of our courses. Lorenzo guided us to some great pairings. You can see menus and the style of presentation on the website. We've eaten at many Michelin recommended and starred restaurants over the years and rate Da Lorenzo right up there among the best.

Da Lorenzo is one of those experience that made the whole trip to Venice have sense! All the dishes are an explosion of flavours and the wine pairing makes them all the more compelling. Highly recommended place in a fascinating historic building of a quiet part of Venice
