Gordon Ramsay Hell's Kitchen at Foxwoods is a restaurant located within the Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, CT. It is themed after the popular reality TV show 'Hell's Kitchen,' offering a high-energy dining experience with an open kitchen where guests can observe chefs at work. The concept aims to bring the excitement and culinary standards of the show to life for diners.
Customer perception is mixed but generally positive regarding the food quality. Signature dishes like the Beef Wellington and Sticky Toffee Pudding receive high praise for being perfectly cooked and delicious. Other dishes like Lobster Risotto, Wagyu Meatballs, Mac & Cheese, and Salmon are also frequently enjoyed. However, some customers find the ambiance to be loud and busy, with multiple TVs playing Gordon Ramsay clips, which can detract from the high-end dining experience and price point, with one reviewer comparing it to a 'Gordon-themed Cheesecake Factory.' Service is often described as friendly and welcoming, though occasionally inattentive. Many visitors consider it a unique experience, especially for fans of Gordon Ramsay and the show.

We were extremely excited to finally try Gordon Ramsay Hell’s Kitchen at Foxwoods. Gordon Ramsay shows are basically on constant rotation in our house, and my oldest daughter is currently binge watching Hell’s Kitchen, so we were especially excited walking through all the merchandise and the overall atmosphere.
We didn’t have reservations, so we added our names to the waitlist which was about an hour and twenty minutes for a party of two. Honestly, the time went by pretty quickly as we explored Foxwoods and grabbed a drink before getting the text that our table was ready.
The restaurant itself is beautiful inside with a great ambiance, and our server was friendly and welcoming throughout the meal. We started with the Wagyu meatballs and the lobster risotto, both of which were very good. As a bit of a Guinness snob, I was slightly disappointed to see my Guinness served in a regular pint glass, but overall it was still a solid pour and enjoyable.
For the entrée, I was most excited to try the Beef Wellington since it’s one of their signature dishes. It was good, but if I’m being honest, a little underwhelming considering the hype. I’ve had better Beef Wellingtons at restaurants back home in Brooklyn. We also ordered the braised short ribs, which were also good, but nothing particularly memorable. The Brussels sprouts side dish was enjoyable, and the real standout of the night was the sticky toffee pudding for dessert — absolutely excellent and worth ordering.
Overall, it was a good experience with great atmosphere and service, but not necessarily a restaurant we’d go out of our way to return to.
My friend surprised me with dinner here for my birthday. I’d been wanting to try it since it opened, but as a big Gordon Ramsay fan, I was nervous as I’d heard mixed reviews about the food and prices. I can confidently say they were wrong, at least about the food.
We both did the prix fixe with the wine pairing. I had the beet salad and my friend had the scallops, both were fantastic and perfectly portioned. I don’t eat seafood, but those scallops were the closest I’ve ever come to liking it. The beet salad was so refreshing and unlike any I’ve had before.
The famous Beef Wellington, and it absolutely lives up to the hype. It was perfectly cooked, the pastry was flaky, and the beef was tender and flavorful. We also split a side of mac and cheese, which may have been one of the best restaurant mac and cheeses I’ve ever had.
Dessert was the sticky toffee pudding (with a candle for my birthday), and it was delicious. Though I do wish the prix fixe included another dessert option for those who don’t love super-sweet desserts.
The wine pairing was just okay, and while our waitress was lovely, she wasn’t very knowledgeable about the wines. I probably wouldn’t do the pairing again.
I think most of the negative reviews stem from the atmosphere. I’ve dined at a few high end restaurants and the service and ambiance are part of what justify the price. Hell’s Kitchen feels like a Gordon-themed Cheesecake Factory. It’s big, loud, thrre’s servers rushing around and TVs playing Gordon’s greatest hits. The food is excellent, but the overall vibe doesn’t quite match the $100+ price point. If the prix fixe were closer to $75, I think reviews would be far more positive.
That said, I had a great time (to be fair, I wasn’t paying). The food was memorable and it was fun seeing the most recent Hell’s Kitchen winner working in the open kitchen. I’d absolutely come back for a special occasion.
This was an absolutely mid dining experience. However, I'm giving it two stars instead of a truly mid three stars because the Gordon Ramsay name does raise expectations.
The restaurant is a single huge room, with pretty standard modern restaurant decor. There are several screens around the room, which is a pet peeve of mine: I think they're tacky and distracting. We went on a Sunday afternoon and the place was almost empty: Only about three or four other tables were occupied.
My daughter ordered a mocktail, which tasted like a slightly richer Hawaiian Punch. For my main course, I ordered the vegetarian "scallops", which turned out to be tofu medallions with not nearly enough sauce. Tofu is of course fairly dry and bland if you don't season it, marinate it or serve it in a sauce. Each one of the "scallops" was served upon a dab of sauce, but this just wasn't enough flavor -- and I do love tofu and I'm not someone who wants food drowning in sauce. The greens seemed to have been served without any dressing at all. My daughter had mac & cheese and the potato purée, which were both fine but nothing special.
Our waiter was charming, but we weren't able to get his attention to pay because he and other staff members were having what appeared to be a really fun conversation. We had to ask a busboy to let him know we were ready to pay.
If I were hungry and there were no other restaurants to choose from I suppose I would eat here again, but I certainly wouldn't recommend it or go out of my way for it.
Gordon Ramsay's , Hell's Kitchen at Foxwoods Casino, what can I say? Nothing but amazing things. They are just incredible, amazing even. The food is outstanding. If you ever wanted to reach through the TV and have a bite then go and get it. It's exactly how it looks, DELICIOUS! 😋 We took our son and his girlfriend ( who are both autistic) for his 24th birthday because he loves Gordon Ramsay and the show. He was so excited ,he enjoyed every minute of it. He ate all of the chicken and the baked mac n cheese. I had the salmon and OMG ,mouthwatering! They even brought over their signature sticky toffee pudding for his birthday with a candle in it. He was thrilled. The staff was incredible, our waiter was amazing, the service impeccable. I could go on and on . Go try it for yourself. It's an experience your going to want to have! 💙❤️ Make sure to make a reservation as they are very very busy.
I went to Hell’s Kitchen for dinner today and the experience was everything! Firstly, I really adore Gordon Ramsay so going to his restaurant meant a lot to me. The restaurant is gorgeous and very appealing to the eye. It’s clean and the staff were super friendly and very down to earth. For me that was a huge standout especially because of the type of restaurant it is. The food was delicious, came out at decent times, and was I would say fairly priced. I highly recommend and I will be back again!
