A multi-award-winning restaurant in Las Vegas, holding Forbes Five Star, AAA Five Diamond, and Wine Spectator's Grand Award for its quiet and intimate dining experience.

Customers consistently describe the dining experience as fantastic, unforgettable, and a demonstration of culinary artistry with impeccable precision. The food quality and technical execution are frequently praised as exceptional, with many highlighting the tasting menu as a perfectly paced showcase of classic French techniques. Service is noted as top-notch, attentive, and knowledgeable, especially regarding wine pairings. While acknowledged as being on the pricey side, many consider it worth it for special occasions. I would say that Joel Robuchon is the most influential French chef of all time. He is well known for teaching Thomas Keller, Gordon Ramsay, and Grant Achatz to name a few, and it really shows through his cooking style with his classic French preparation and attention to detail. I was really excited to give this restaurant a try because I am a French food addict and the dinner did not let me down. Every part of it was fantastic. It’s located in the MGM signature area and is really well done on the inside. It’s very large and has a very red theme throughout and has a bit of a modern lie to it. We sat at the chef’s counter and were able to watch this kitchen make the food during the entire meal, which was really awesome to see. Our server was also extremely polite and the menu had a lot of great options on it.
For my dinner I started off with Le Tartare de Wagyu and loved every bit of it. It was extremely well balanced, and had very deep and rich flavors. For my entrée, I chose the Le Loup de Mer which is basically Seabass and it was also fantastic. It was cooked perfectly, and every bit of it was memorable. The entire dinner was wonderfully prepared, and I feel that the price was fair given what we got in return. If you are a fan of French food you must try this place and I will stop in again next time I am visiting Las Vegas.
My second time coming to L'Atelier de Joël Robuchon, and it was just as good as the first. This time they had a completely new menu, which is cool because they’re always changing things up, so it feels like a new experience every visit. The setup is really unique, especially sitting at the counter and watching the chefs cook right in front of you. The food has a lot of unique flavors you don’t normally get, but everything is outstanding. Service was great—friendly and attentive without being too much. It is definitely on the pricey side, but for a special occasion or if you want to try something different, it’s worth it at least once.
My wife and I came here for dinner on Monday night (Feb 23, 2026), and we had an unforgettable experience at L'Atelier de Joël Robuchon. We both did the tasting menu alongside the premier wine pairing, and the entire evening was flawless.
While we genuinely enjoyed all the courses, the absolute standouts for both of us were early in the meal. The Amuse Bouche (a Foie Gras Parfait with Parmesan foam), the fresh Hamachi with caviar, and the Fingerling Potatoes with shaved black truffle were simply the best things we ate all night.
For our main courses, we chose different options: I had the New Zealand Venison, while my wife had the Jack's Creek Wagyu Ribeye, both just perfectly cooked. We finished the meal with a beautifully refreshing Yuzu dessert.
Beyond the amazing food, the ambiance is fantastic—especially getting to watch the chefs work in the open kitchen. The staff was top-notch, exceptionally attentive, and very knowledgeable about the wine pairings.
Everything was perfect from start to finish. We will definitely be coming back!
Dining at L'Atelier de Joël Robuchon is a demonstration of culinary artistry executed with impeccable precision. This establishment provides a refined yet intimate fine dining experience, primarily centered around its signature counter seating overlooking the open kitchen—truly living up to the name, "The Workshop."
The food quality and technical execution are consistently exceptional. We opted for the tasting menu, which served as a perfectly paced showcase of classic French techniques paired with inventive presentation. Each course, from the signature amuse-bouche to the dessert, was meticulously balanced. A specific highlight was the delicate handling of the protein course, demonstrating mastery over temperature and texture. The dishes are consistently flawless.
The service maintains the same high standard. The staff is knowledgeable, offering discreet, anticipatory attention without being intrusive. Wine pairings were expertly managed and complemented the menu choices effectively. For those seeking an elevated and consistently flawless dining experience in Las Vegas, L'Atelier remains the benchmark. This is unquestionably a 5 out of 5 stars experience.
THE place to savor quintessential French technique and execution. Great energy from the open kitchen if you sit at the counter. I highly recommend the seasonal discovery tasting menu and try the lamb if they have it. Order the sliders with french fries a la carte if you’re still hungry.
