The ambience of the restaurant was very nice and the decorations were good and the story behind the decorations was very interesting. The food was beautifully plated, and it was a fun dining experience, but for a Michelin star restaurant the taste didn’t wow me the way it should have. Also it claims to be an Israeli restaurant, but it was more French than anything. They said they were inspired by Israeli cooking, but I’ve had plenty of Israeli food and it’s kind of unfair to claim that as IsraelI. If you like fine dining, I’d recommend the four course meal without the wine pairing as the wine didn’t impress me that much. Overall, it was a cool experience though.

We were completely blown away by Shabour. The staff were absolutely amazing, friendly and engaging. They made such an effort to accommodate our dietary requirements and preferences, and they took us on a culinary journey that transported us to Jerusalem. The food was fantastic, and the mixture of French, Israeli, North African, and a bit of Yiddish was completely unique and special. Having been to some other restaurants in the group (Tekes & Coal Office), the anticipation was high, but this far exceeded those. Hugely recommend!

The experience at this restaurant was absolutely outstanding. The design is stunning – not only beautiful but also part of the story, seamlessly blending into the dining journey itself. The meal was composed of 8 courses with a few refreshing bites in between. Every dish was delicious and brilliantly crafted, with creative combinations of ingredients that turned each plate into a true masterpiece. The service was excellent – warm, attentive, and accompanied by thoughtful explanations of each dish. I also chose the wine pairing, and every glass complemented the food perfectly, elevating the entire evening into a complete, harmonious experience. Overall, this is a restaurant that brings together unique atmosphere, refined design, impeccable service, and world-class cuisine – a perfect culinary experience not to be missed.

Our third visit to Shabour, it is only getting better with time. Same special setting and service, food is becoming even better, refined but not over done, well crafted but still looks, feels, and tastes like food :). Highly recommend.
