I like the place, but today, the service was not 100%. The server was very slow. It's just a problem with teamwork. Enough people, but they fail to see if you need something. I ate 8 tacos and a cup of beans. I spent almost 500, and I needed to go to the cashier to pay since they dropped off the ticket and never returned with the terminal. I usually go to another place, but they were closed. Not sure if they realize sometimes with so many places you would not return if you don't have a great experience.
The food here is excellent. The tacos de tripa are highly recommended and the torta de asada is my favorite. The person that takes your order is on top of your needs. Fresh tasting food all the way around.
Taconazo in Tijuana is hands down my favorite taco spot in the entire city. This place has come a long way—from very humble beginnings to now having a freshly updated exterior that gives it a cleaner, more modern look while still keeping that authentic street food vibe. It’s clear they’ve invested in the space, and it really shows.
But let’s get to the main reason I keep coming back—the food is phenomenal. My absolute go-to is the al pastor tacos “con todo” (with everything). I always ask for the meat to be slightly burned because I love that crispy, caramelized edge—it gives the taco an extra layer of flavor that’s hard to beat. Pair that with a classic Coca-Cola in a glass bottle, and you’re in taco heaven. My second favorite has to be the chorizo tacos—spicy, rich, and just as addicting.
These are the small street-style tacos, which means you can easily eat 6 to 10 without even realizing it. And believe me, I do—every single time I visit. It’s a ritual at this point.
Only downside? Parking can be rough during peak hours, and the spot is right in front of a busy intersection with heavy foot traffic. Luckily, the restaurant has added a barrier to keep homeless individuals from bothering customers, which helps make the eating experience more comfortable.
If you’re in Tijuana and love tacos, Taconazo is an absolute must. Authentic, affordable, and addictive.
My brother and I tried Taco Nazo for the first time, and it did not disappoint! Despite the heat outside, the inside was clean, comfortable, and well-ventilated with fans running to keep everyone cool.
We both ordered the fish taco plates, which were delicious, and they even brought out complimentary chips and salsa for both of us.
The standout feature, though, was the service. Ariel was extremely helpful, attentive, polite, and fast with everything we needed—even while dealing with the hot weather.
I live over in Moreno Valley, but I will 100% be making the drive back to eat.

Delicious food! We came twice while we were in Baja. We got the sopes, burritos, tacos and tortas. EVERYTHING was good. My only con was that their aguas frescas were bottled and not “fresh” like in the USA. Also, make sure to ask if it comes with cilantro sauce, some items come heavy on the sauce. I enjoyed the torta the most but my family definitely liked the burritos.
