I wish I have multiple stomachs! To bag all the tempting savory and plain bread. Almost had a manakish to go, but the friendly uncles are so efficient and let me move on :3 Totally worth the 25th walk from Florentine.
The pita egg bake is so much better than average quiche (there are some good ones but usually just greasy). Plenty of mushrooms. I didn’t expect pepper and salt on top when asked but I’m glad I accepted the extra sprinkle. It adds another level of flavor. I am also happily surprised by the melting cheese underneath. And the pita, of course, is beautifully made and reheated in the fiery oven, crunchy crust, dense and moist dough.
And there are miraculously some benches nearby that’s not yet soaked in the morning rain
Awful all around experience. The guy working there was incredibly rude. I wanted to pick a specific baklava and he gave me attitude saying they’re all the same. I’m aware they are all the same, but I am paying, so I’m allowed to pick which baklava I want. Also, they lie about their baklava. It’s not pistachios, it’s peanuts and they dye it green. I had green poop due to this. And to make it ALL worse. This place gave me bacteria similar to salmonella. I actually went to the hospital for it. Be very very very careful with this place. It’s not worth bad service and bacteria food

Place is located next to the Clock Tower. Tourists are everywhere so the price is quite high. Pastries are mostly fresh, but not everything tastes super good. Close to the beach, promenade and old city all around you. Open even late in the evening.

The soft bread and varieties! One of the best bakeries I believe it’s in the old city. We were taken here by our tour guide, we tried the bread baked stuffed bread/bun with cheese and tomato sauce. The bread was so soft and fluffy but the inside was not our favorite flavor. They had so many varieties will
Have to go again to take other items.
