Anana Coffee + Food is a lovely stop, especially if you are looking for desserts that are not overwhelmingly sweet. When we visited, there was a strawberry galette and it was delicious. The sugar level was perfectly balanced, which is rare in Athens where many desserts can feel too sweet for those who prefer lighter flavors. This place gets that balance just right.
The coffee was good, though I personally prefer my coffee a bit hotter. Still enjoyable, just a personal taste. It is generally quite crowded, which says a lot about how popular it is.
The café sits inside an old passage, and that historic setting adds a beautiful charm to the atmosphere. The slightly worn, vintage feel of the passage makes the whole experience even more special and cozy.
Our favourite coffee spot in Athens. Coffee is good, atmosphere is nice and everything we tried was delicious. If you go there on weekend it might be hard to find table but you dont wait much. Lovely place 🙌🏻
Great location with indoor and outdoor seating. The staff is friendly and they make delicious coffees! I had an egg sandwich that I highly recommend. Great protein option! You can sit in the back and have a waitress or there’s some self service seating at the front or outside. Give it a try- I think you’ll love it. ☺️
Anana Coffee is one of my favorite spots in Athens! The coffee is exceptional, the sweet treats are delicious, and the hidden gem is the terrace—tucked inside a 70s building atrium. It’s like stepping back in time, all while enjoying a perfect cup of coffee. Highly recommend!
First the place. Great calming design, and the courtyard is magical. Also love the colour scheme and the graphic design on the products.
We had the egg sandwich and the cheese toast. Both are fine, both quite small and both very simple. No great cooking but simple dishes modernised for the younger crowd.
For dessert, we tried the seasonal porridge. Again, fine, small, and simple.
For me, one of those places where the place is more memorable than the food.
