Bobby's Burger Palace is a casual burger restaurant inspired by Chef Bobby Flay, located within the Mohegan Sun Casino in Uncasville, CT. It is known for its signature burgers, fries, milkshakes, salads, and sandwiches. The restaurant recently underwent a remodel and rebranding.
Customer feedback is mixed, with common themes including inconsistent burger cooking (ranging from very rare to well-done when medium is requested). While some praise the delicious taste of specific items like the Crunch Burger, Bobby Blue & Bacon, Fried Chicken Sandwich, and sweet potato fries, others find the fries cold, soggy, or flavorless. The recent remodel has led to a perception of the restaurant feeling more like a fast-food chain, with cafeteria-style trays replacing traditional plates. There are also complaints about increased prices, fewer menu options, and new charges for items like water. Service quality receives varied comments, with some positive mentions of staff, while others suggest room for improvement.
Additional Details
The restaurant offers a 'crunchify' option for burgers, which is a popular customization. Historically, it was known for offering a variety of table-side sauces, which has now been reduced to a single sauce choice. There have also been changes regarding complimentary water, which is now charged.
No specific best times to visit are mentioned in the provided information. As a casino restaurant, it likely experiences steady traffic during lunch and dinner hours, especially on weekends or during casino events.

Very inconsistent in the cooking of burgers. I’ve ordered medium well before and got a burger completely dripping blood and the most recent visit I ordered medium well and the burger was more than well done, no pink in sight.
Fries were cold and soggy. Onion rings were fine.
The crunchify option for burger is fun.
Food was relatively quick to come out. But all 3 of our burgers came out very rare when we asked for medium, when I went to ask for new ones done correctly the burgers were inspected thoroughly by 2 different staff members like I was lying? When we went to sit at a table it was covered in leftover food. Was way better before this remodel, now it just feel like a fastfood chain.
We were at Mohegan for the Chocolate Expo & wanted to check out the "new" Bobby's Burgers after the rebranding etc. After reading many recent reviews, we were worried we would be disappointed but we loved the food, service and atmosphere of the place. We had a crunch burger, Bobby Blue & Bacon, Fried Chicken Sandwich & sweet potato fries. Everything was delicious! We were surprised how great the chicken sandwich was since we are picky and it exceeded our expectations! They still had the frozen cactus margaritas and Ashwin & Julian took very good care of us and were friendly & helpful. The only negative was the cafeteria style trays with the paper boxes. They are great for take out but when people dine in, they really should use plates for the food (like they used to). The food is still delicious & the service is excellent and we will be back.
The burgers are amazing—cooked perfectly and go so well with the fries. The service could be improved, but I loved it overall. Definitely worth the hype!
Visited the “new and improved” Bobby’s Burgers today. New is not always better. The vibe was a bit stuffy compared to the old version of the restaurant. Also, price went up and menu options went down. Was shocked to see a small container of fries that tasted flavorless for $7. Also, you can only pick one sauce with your fries now compared to the fun and exciting table side sauces offered in the past. Bobby’s was always our meal of choice whenever we visited Mohegan Sun and even traveled to the casino today just to check out the new restaurant. We weee very disappointed. Also, was planning to get a cup of water for my son from the fountain (always free in the past), now 75 cents per cup. This is clearly a money grab. People used to come here for a great meal at a fair price- I predict this will not be the case in the future. Very disappointed and will not look at Bobby’s restaurant chains the same way in the future.
