Customer Perception
Customers consistently praise the delicious and generously portioned burgers, with the Western Burger and Bacon Cheeseburger frequently highlighted for their juiciness, flavor, and ample toppings. The fries are noted for being hot and crispy, and the onion rings are also well-regarded. Reviewers appreciate the reasonable prices and friendly staff. While the food receives high marks, the atmosphere is described as casual and could benefit from improvements. Many customers enjoy the quality of both the American and Mexican dishes offered.
Burger House is a local, family-run business with Mexican ownership, offering a diverse menu that caters to both American comfort food cravings and Mexican culinary preferences. They also serve breakfast.
Bacon cheeseburger absolutely loaded with bacon. Delicious burger and the fries were hot and crispy. Staff is friendly and the place is clean. Definitely recommend if you want a burger, and the Mexican food looks good too.
This place was recommended to us by a local friend. Their prices are reasonable, the food is amazing and the gal that took care of us was so personable. I find it sad that they had to post a sign clarifying that they cannot rectify issues after you've eaten or taken your food. I assume it's because people have tried to scam them into refunds which is sad. They're a great little business.
I stopped in and tried the Western Burger 🍔🤠 — nice size patty topped with cheese 🧀, BBQ sauce, bacon 🥓, plenty of pickles 🥒, and a big crispy onion ring 🧅🔥. Add in a large order of hot fries 🍟 and the whole meal came in under $15 — not a bad deal at all 💵.
• 🍔 Western Burger – ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (juicy, flavorful, great toppings)
• 🥒 Pickles – ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (plenty and fresh)
• 🧅 Onion Ring – ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (big and perfectly fried)
• 🍟 Fries – ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (hot, no complaints)
• 🪑 Atmosphere – ⭐️⭐️ (could use some improvement, more on the casual side)
Looks like they also serve Mexican food 🌮🌯, but I came for the burger and left satisfied. For the price, size, and quality, I’d say Jim’s is a solid choice — and yes, I’d return again 👍
This place is Mexican owned and run, but don’t let that stop you from getting your American food from here. They do a good job regardless on what kind of food they make up. At least in my experiences. For the sides, all are cooked to order and the fries are thick and slightly seasoned, the onion rings are like you would find in a quality restaurant. Their fried zucchini is made fresh. The burgers are big, filling, and very good. Things are made to order, so everything comes out borderline too hot to touch. They are pretty quick to get your food out considering it’s made fresh. So regardless on if you’re in the mood for a carnitas taco, an asada burrito, or a western burger, you can come here with the likelihood that you’ll be happy with your meal. If you get the western, you won’t end up with one tiny onion ring like some places. You’ll get 3-4 decent sized ones.
The food is good. Have never tried the Mexican food, but i hear good things. My go to is any burger combo. (Burger, fries, drink). The fries are excellent. The burger is okay-its a thin beef patty with extra toppings sandwiched between a thick sesame bun. Their breakfast is great too. The service is good and the staff are pretty respectful.
