Spent over $60 on sushi with their specials packs from 4 pm but didn’t expect to get a free fly inside. Absolutely disgusting and we couldn’t stomach eating what we bought after having the fly inside the pack. Phoned in and explained we had a fly inside the pack as well as taking a video to show them. Was told to return it to the store for a replacement. After going in, an early afternoon after being sick to show them the video with the fly crawling all over the sushi and get a replacement pack, they said I needed to go back after 4 pm for a replacement otherwise I could pay the difference to get what I originally bought, still wanting to charge me more despite the health and safety hygiene issue. This was the worst customer service ever experienced and only after asking if I could have the replacement multiple times since I was there and couldn’t get back in the afternoon, reluctantly they let me take only 5 pieces despite the pack of 7 that I had paid for. Will never go back after such a poor experience and them refusing to give the same number of pieces that I paid for. Buyer beware when purchasing pre packed sushi, it might pay to check that you don’t get a free fly inside your sushi pack like we did!
It's nice to have this Japanese option in the area. The space is small and there are not too many options, but it is perfect for those who just want to lunch quickly for a reasonable price. The taste? I would not include it in my top 10 sushi places in Auckland. But if there are less than 10 such places in Mt Eden, WA Kim would definitely hit the list 🤭
We get takeaway sushi from here fairly regularly and it’s always delicious. We ordered 120 pieces for a party recently and the sushi was fantastic quality and got quickly eaten up by our guests who commented on how great it was. Highly recommend.
Food is great has lots of flavour! Cute little pots in the village. I was worried about food poisoning whenever I get chicken, but this place really lives up to your expectation. A little expensive but delicious
Love the sushi here, generous fillings and great flavours. Could be better maintaining flies getting in and out of cabinets. I understand it’s challenging with double-door setups but should be a priority in a hospitality setting
