Had such an amazing time at the Alameda Hotel pop-up event! This is truly a great place to hang out, especially the incredible Creatures Rooftop Bar — the vibe, the atmosphere, and the views are everything.

Rey is absolutely perfect! He’s so great to talk to & i respect his hustle. He’s such a great worker and gets our food out in such a well time, the food was also amazing :)
The scenery alone is worth the trip...you can see straight across to New Jersey, the Hudson river, and even catch the Empire State Building in the skyline. The vibe is relaxed but lively, with a mix of tables (best to reserve if you want one) and plenty of stand-up space if you’re just hanging out.
They’ve got what they call Liquid Therapy and Good Food and honestly, both hit the spot. We went for happy hour (yes, they do have one!), and ordered the special where you can pick three small plates, plus a side of fried calamari. Everything was delicious. The tzatziki, pita with hummus, falafel with veggies...all fresh and flavorful. The calamari was perfectly crispy and came with a chipotle aioli that was chef’s kiss.
The energy here is perfect for an after-work unwind, reunion, or a weekend hang. We ended up staying for about 5 hours (probably more than we should’ve: listen we hadnt seen each other in 20years, we needed the catch up). They even had a silent disco for an extra charge, which was fun to watch even if you didn’t join in.
Shoutout to our server, Malenny, she was incredible! Super attentive, made sure we always had what we needed, and really added to the good vibes of the night.
Bathrooms? Clean and fully stocked (a small but important detail that never goes unnoticed).
Overall, Creatures Rooftop is the perfect spot for happy hour, catching up with friends, or just soaking in the view with great food and drinks. Highly recommend, and I’ll definitely be back!

The bar is very well equipped – a great selection of cocktails, wines, and spirits, all beautifully prepared. The bartenders clearly know their craft. The staff overall is outstanding: professional, attentive, and genuinely welcoming without being intrusive.
The food is just as impressive – fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Perfect portions and a menu that’s creative but approachable.
But what really takes the experience to the next level are the views. As soon as the sun goes down and the city lights come on, the rooftop transforms. The view into the surrounding NYC streets is simply phenomenal – it gives you that magical, cinematic New York feeling.

We had a corporate event here in the Lobby/Garden area and it was great! They were extremely communicative, flexible and supportive in our changing needs. The entire group had a wonderful time and it felt extremely laid back/relaxed. They were able to get more food out when we needed as well as great drinks!
