Customer perception is mixed but generally positive regarding the overall experience and food quality, with some reservations about service and value. Many praise the 'sensational' food, 'incredible beach setup,' and 'outstanding service' from individual staff members. The truffle pizza is frequently highlighted as a must-try. However, some reviews mention that service can be inconsistent, with waiters occasionally forgetting orders. There are also concerns about the high prices, with some feeling the value for money is not always justified, especially for packages or specific dishes. A notable point of frustration for some customers is the confusing billing system, particularly regarding minimum spends and how restaurant charges interact with beach club fees.

Our experience at Folie was flawless from start to finish. We spent the day in a private cabana, and everything—from the incredible beach setup to the restaurant—was absolutely perfect.
The food was sensational, but if there is one absolute must-try, it is the truffle pizza. It was incredibly delicious and easily one of the highlights of our day.
What truly made our visit unforgettable, though, was Samitha, who looked after us throughout the entire day. Samitha provided outstanding service, was incredibly attentive, and always ready to help with a genuine smile.
We had an amazing time and will absolutely be back. Highly recommended
We stayed at METT next door so we spent a few days at Folie, at both the restaurant and the beach club. The food at the resaurant is excellent overall. Portions are a bit on the 'fine dining' side, and so are the prices. The service can be improved. Waiters forget your orders so you need to remind them all the time. However it's worth noting some of the staff also works at the hotel so I can empathize with their long working hours.
Big shout out to Yashar, the f&b director, who is highly experienced and is visibly keeping his staff sharp. Special thanks for Hazar, Enar, and Yunus for taking care of us.
Note to customers from the GCC: lower your expectations of service or you'll be frustrated.
Honestly one of the best experiences I’ve had. ( Yunus ) was extremely kind, professional, and very helpful from start to finish. His service was excellent and he made everything comfortable and easy. You can really tell he cares about the guests and pays attention to every detail. Highly recommended, thank you ( yunus )for the amazing service!
Value for money not justified
We paid a package at 150 euros per person to attend a so-called “show”
We were placed at the back of the restaurant (people taking the cheapest option are punished at the back of the restaurant, explaining to us that the reserved seats for the DJ are for "premium" customers, as waiter explained to me) When you respect your customers, you make sure that everyone can enjoy the party, not just those who consume bottles.
The prices are clearly too high compared to the quality of the service. The dishes do not justify the requested prices, and the price-quality ratio is disappointing. At this price level, we were expecting a much more successful experience, both in the plate and in the service.
Here is a photo of a dish for at least 50 euros filled with oil, they had to spill the bottle of Tabasco because the dish was so spicy that it burned my face. I forced myself to eat given the price and I was sick all night... paying 150 euros to be placed at the back of the restaurant, eat an inedible dish, and be sick like a dog is too much
Believe me, we’re not going to do ads for you on social media...
Beware it seems that folie operates as 2 different venues. One is the beach where you pay €100 for a bed per person (50% can be used against food and beverage it says in the small print)
If you go and eat in the restaurant they will not allow you to use this against your venue spend and demand you settle your bill before going back to your sun lounger.
This does not count against your minimum spend even though it is the same venue and you are charged on the same card machine.
Very disappointing from the venue who choose not disclose this. I presume this is in the name of profits. If they had communicated this earlier then we would not have eaten at the restaurant and would have opted to order at our beds and redeemed against our spend.
The whole experienced ruined what was up to that point an enjoyable day.
