If I could give 100 stars, I would give 100 stars. My first visit was alone, and the second time I came with my sister to celebrate my birthday. I have nothing but praise — this place simply exceeds every possible expectation. Everything is stunningly beautiful, the food is delicious, the wine is exceptional, the service is impeccable, and the concept, the music, the bar, and the presentation of the dishes are all perfect. You feel completely cared for — as if you’re being gently held in warm, welcoming hands. I highly, highly recommend this place. George & John is located on the ground floor of the historic Drisco Hotel in the heart of Jaffa. Led by Chef Tomer Tal, the kitchen focuses on seasonal, locally sourced ingredients presented with contemporary Israeli creativity. The wine list features around 250 premium local and international labels. The atmosphere combines the charm of a heritage building with modern luxury and an elegant, refined style. With its ambiance, attention to detail, creativity, and world-class service, George & John is without doubt one of the finest dining experiences in Israel — a place to return to again and again. Bartender Jonathan is ONE LOVE ☺️

We had a wonderful dinner at this highly recommended restaurant. We started with the exceptional green salad with tasty sliced apples and a salad of anais and red orange. For main courses we had the totally outstanding labane tortellini and a grilled levrak fish with asparagus in a butter sauce that was delicious. For dessert the pumpkin cake was original and wonderful. Beautiful atmosphere, great service and comfortable setting. Expensive but absolutely worth the price.

We came here to celebrate a wedding anniversary. The place is beautiful and the atmosphere was lovely, service was perfect. But their variety of dishes was rather small to choose from. With the exception of the wine and the brilliant fennel salad, nothing was really tasty. The sea bass was rather dry without a side dish and still super expensive and the tortellini was non-coherent. We were disappointed this time.

One of the best restaurants in Israel. Every single dish has its own unique interpretation and style. Clever play with flavors and textures. The service is professional and the overall experience is fantastic.

I went for drinks last night with some girlfriends to George & John and we had a fabulous experience. The bartender Jonathan was kind, extremely knowledgeable and very professional. He even crafted us special off-menu cocktails based on our alcohol preferences! He spoke excellent english and made us feel very comfortable - Thank you Jonathan! The decor and music at George & John is very tasteful and creates a very nice ambiance. It is a must visit spot if you are in Tel Aviv!
