An authentic Japanese izakaya in Berlin known for its traditional, romantic, and whimsical ambiance, specializing in fresh sushi, sashimi, and Japanese tapas.
Delicious food (especially if you’re a fan of sashimi) in a small and cute shop. Very authentic! Owner and chef are Japanese and were very friendly and polite.
Unbalanced flavour of the rolls—super acidic, dry, and actually tasteless—plus the fact that the smallest amount of fish in rolls I’ve ever seen was here. 4 dishes, none of them was even tasty.
Incredibly slow service—it took almost an hour to get our tuna tartare.
For an izakaya where the food seems like made by a hobbyist-teenager, the prices are overwhelming. The waitress made two mistakes in our order. Umph…
So great food! We ate almost the whole menu. Starting with fish soup and then various sushi rolls as well as tartar, spicy tuna salad and the duck. All was very delicious - and them service is great too! Small place - ensure you book your table!
Very high quality fresh fish food. Depends on the day there are different fishes that they prepare for the menu. For real sushi expert lover, you will love it there.
I’m honestly sad to not leave a 5* review to this place. I was so excited to finally eat there after reading all the good reviews. Atmosphere is great, service very kind but the food was truly not tasty although it is expensive. We ordered the “chef sushi’s” and it was with asparagus, the most German food one could expect. Very disappointed with 3 items and a bill of 86€.
