We have stayed at many Hyatts in our 25 years of travels and more to come as our kids are older now. Our experience at this Hyatt so far is below par, like double boogie level!!
Once at the hotel, the guy at Valet didn’t actually was happy to see us cause he walked away and we took out all of our bags. Strike 1.
We asked if the reservations can be changed to my name to get my Hyatt pints and was denied. Strike 2.
The room had a strong order, highly recommend to do more air freshener. And the toilet was not cleaned, attached is a picture. How can housekeeping leave a room like this for the next customer and which manager is checking these rooms if they are done properly. Strike 3.
Therefore I had to write this review. We expected a little more service for spending $700 for two room for 1 night. Didn’t feel like a vacation. I hope someone from Hyatt reaches out to me so that they can continue to have us as members.
Hotel is located by the convention centre with convenient access to all the subway lines.
However, it is not an idea hotel if you are planning on driving because the traffic right outside the hotel is insane and the hotel does not offer any parking. It's about a 30 minute walk to the arc de Trumph and Champs-Elysee area.
Alex the doorman literally risked his life just to get us a taxi. We waited for 20 minutes and the taxi just couldn't make it out of the roundabout so Alex finally went out and directed traffic for us and the tour bus kept on inching toward him. It was WILD!
The view of the Eiffel tower and the Arc are unbeatable. Highly recommend staying there and paying a little extra to have a room that offers that view. The regency club food was ok, nothing special. Coffee machine in there kept on breaking down, the variety of food and quality was average..
Rooms are decently sized and has nice in room amenities.
Overall, definitely would stay there again.
Spacious room ( we booked the family suite) which gives you a second room with proper twin beds( not a sofa bed) and a second full bathroom. The included Breakfast package is on the top floor with an amazing view of the Eiffel Tower. The breakfast options were somewhat basic but were fresh and the place was never too crowded. The Arc is a 10 min walk. Would be considered a little far to the Eiffel Tower or Louvre (about 25 mins by cab or 30 min walk), although the hotel was Well positioned for us as we intended to do several things like Versailles, Montmatre, and Roland Garros.
But for one thing you cannot beat this hotel. The view of the Eiffel tower during the day and night was stunning from our room. Few large hotels in Paris have this, esp at this price point.
Loved loved it! The view of the Eiffel Tower from the room is absolutely unbeatable!
I've had Marriott Platinum and Hilton Gold, which give benefits like free breakfast. But I traveled to this hotel based on a recommendation without an elite status with Hyatt, and really enjoyed it. Maybe it is now time to switch from Marriott to Hyatt!
Special thanks to Lilian FENASSE at Guest Relations and Lisa at check-in.
The best Paris hotel with views of the Eiffel Tower. Very walkable to all Paris attractions. Staff is a 10 ! Book Hyatt. You won’t be disappointed. Cleaning team is the best in the business. I accidentally dropped a diamond necklace checked out of the hotel called three hours later it was found. I am highly impressed. The breakfast buffet has made to order omelets and eggs. We booked a deluxe Eiffel Tower room and the views are spectacular and the beds are very comfortable.
