If you’re just looking for a quick bowl of ramen, there are plenty of places in New York City. But if you’re a true ramen lover, IPPUDO Westside should definitely be on your list.
I’ve been to several IPPUDO locations over the years, and this one certainly didn’t disappoint. The rich tonkotsu broth, perfectly cooked noodles, and tender chashu pork were exactly what I expect from the IPPUDO brand. Every bowl is consistently delicious, which is why I keep coming back whenever I visit a city with an IPPUDO.
The restaurant has a lively atmosphere, friendly service, and even though it’s popular, it’s well worth the wait. Founded in Fukuoka, Japan in 1985, IPPUDO helped introduce authentic tonkotsu ramen to New York when it opened its first U.S. location in Manhattan in 2008, and it has remained one of the city’s iconic ramen destinations ever since. If you’re serious about ramen, this isn’t just another restaurant you happen to pass by—it’s a destination that’s worth seeking out. Highly recommended!
