Jupiter Artland is an award-winning contemporary sculpture garden spanning 120 acres of meadows, woodlands, and indoor galleries. It features large-scale art installations and a unique functional artwork swimming pool. Food and beverage options are available through a coffee shop, restaurant, and snack bar within the grounds.
Customers appreciate the beautiful grounds, natural oasis, and calming atmosphere, along with the impressive outdoor art installations. The coffee shop's food and cakes, including cinnamon rolls and sausage rolls, are often highlighted positively. However, common complaints include the poor condition of the access roads (potholes), high entry fees (especially for dogs), and issues with the 'wild swimming' area, which some found to have dirty-looking, algae-filled water and inadequate changing facilities or signage.
Jupiter Artland is home to 'Gateway', a functional artwork swimming pool by Portuguese artist Joana Vasconcelos, described as the UK's only art deco Olympic-sized seawater lido, with heated water. Access to the pool often requires a separate ticket. The grounds also feature wild goats and horses.
It is recommended to visit on a nice day to fully enjoy wandering around the outdoor exhibits. Jupiter Artland is open 7 days a week from 10 am to 5 pm (last entry 3:30 pm).
