Honestly, the only reason we chose to come to this place was because on certain evenings, there's a dance troupe that performs here, and we wanted to catch the traditional cultural side a little bit. And we were not disappointed. The dance troupe did about 4-5 performances, costume change included, and enthralled all of us guests.
My suggestion is to come in much earlier and try to find a table on the lower floor for a closer view of the energetic and elegant dancers. When we came, there were no tables available, s we had to take the balcony seating, where the view is obstructed by pillars.
Aside from the performances, the music system is pretty loud, and the guy plays a lot of popular numbers, and after the performances are done, the floor is open to the guests who can have a little DJ party of their own.
Talking of food, it is decent in taste and pricing, but the service is slow, and we had been warned through other reviews to check the bill very carefully since they end up charging for items we never ordered. In our case, we were charged for a large water bottle, when we only requested regular tap water.
As is true everywhere, keep the translation app handy. And call this restaurant in advance to confirm the days on which the dance performance will happen so that you don't miss the show. Apparently, it is pretty popular with tourists - during our visit, there were many large groups of Indian tourists like myself, and a South-East Asian family, and many European tourists (we knew from the typical touristy dressing we all had, lol)
