Lazy Bear Harpenden is an independent, family-owned coffee house known for its commitment to serving high-quality coffee, locally sourced cakes, and pastries. It offers a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere with pale wood decor, good WiFi, and convenient USB charging ports. The establishment is notably dog-friendly, welcoming pets with treats.
Customers consistently praise Lazy Bear for its excellent coffee, with many calling their flat white and Americano the best in town. The staff are frequently described as personable and friendly, contributing to a good vibe and atmosphere with cool music. The cakes, pastries, and breakfast options like the sausage bap are also well-received. While generally positive, one review mentioned slow service and a rude staff member on a particular occasion.
Lazy Bear Harpenden actively supports local causes, including the Herts Air Ambulance Service. It aims to stand out from corporate chains by offering unique signatures and a strong community focus.
As a coffee house offering breakfast and cakes, mornings and afternoons are likely ideal. It's also highlighted as a great spot for weekend visits, as suggested by its mention in the Sunday Telegraph.
