Desserts tasted like they were made from a factory. The chocolate cake tasted like a plane food dessert and the lemon tart tasted exactly like trader joes. Entree was okay I guess. The only thing I liked was the fries in steak frites. Not impressed, won’t come back. There’s plenty of other better restaurants in the city.
Dined here on Valentine’s Day weekend and snagged a super late reservation (10:30pm). Felt super guilty about it but tried to go in with low expectations and as prepared as possible to make this smooth for everyone.
We arrived and our host informed us there would be a small wait (understandably) but offered for us water and to checkout the bar downstairs. (We already had reservations for a later date there)
We were seated shortly after and I cannot tell you how AWESOME our server Casey was. (I hope that’s how his name is spelled if not I’m SO sorry 😢). As mentioned we were pretty certain about what we wanted and intended on making this a very cut and dry experience for the sake of everyone getting home safe and enjoying their night as much as us, but he was such a warm and welcoming spirit.
I was concerned about the Mac and cheese being too heavy but he encouraged I get it to accompany the Pork Tomahawk we got. Everything came promptly and again, everyone was so sweet in a very compromising and normally chaotic circumstance.

I’ve been downstairs to Giuseppe & Sons so many times and wanted to give Bar Lesieur a try!
The ambiance is great for a date night, filled with warm moody lighting. Unfortunately, the food didn’t match the atmosphere.
We started with an espresso martini, which was fine. I much preferred my second drink, Queen Bee. We then got a caesar salad, we did not like it. It tasted watery like the lettuce was washed but not fully dried before putting the dressing on. Also, no croutons.
We got the crab cake which we did enjoy. Had a nice crisp on the outside. $25 for one crab cake with no sides was pretty outrageous though. The mac & cheese was delicious!
Lastly, we got the burger. I found it to be overcooked and didn’t have great flavor, my friend thought it was good. The fries were very crispy and tasty.
Overall, for the prices and portion size, I was not impressed and unfortunately will not be coming back.

This is one of the best spots in the city! Cayce was my sever, he was very knowledgeable and friendly. We had the French onion crepes and the Cowboy for two with a side of Mac and cheese. The steak was cooked perfectly and we cleaned our plates. Drinks came out quickly as well! We will definitely be returning :)

My experience in the sequence I ordered. Espresso martini was filled with espresso powder which made the last few sips gritty, undrinkable. Beef Wellington was soggy. Onion crepes were too sweet. The NY strip was the biggest problem. It was cooked ok but the cut was terrible. It was a 1/2” thick at best and every bite seemed to have gristle. Wine we wanted was also unavailable. With 3 people the bill was over $400, unacceptable for the quality.
