Meat Market

Attended the Finders Keepers Market today at the Meat Market. Just another opportunity for niche market vendors to jack up their prices for customers. Cost $7 to enter, had to squeeze through small spaces between stands. Poorly laid out. While there were some good products available, I found them online at a cheaper price. Most venues did not accept cash, but happily charged a surcharge for using credit cards.

Doesn’t look like much on the outside, but inside it’s great for a 200 plus event. I came here for a candlelight concert and was the perfect setting for this type of event. If you’re lucky, the parking outside is free after 6:30pm. Only criticism I have are the toilets are a bit out of the way, and they don’t have a proper bar (they have a make shift bar as seen pic 5).

At the moment, the market is transformed into a great concert area. The Candlelight Concerts are performed here with a great of success. Personally, I think this is one of the greatest places to enjoy a concern of this kind.

Great experience, really made us think about all aspects of the fatal accident. Still thinking about it today, very cleverly written and produced and enacted. Highly recommend especially if you’re looking for something different to experience.
