Osteria Il Bell Antonio

Got recommended by a local friend as one of the best in town restaurants. In one word: Fantastic food! We tried the mixed smoked fish and the cod fish cakes for starters and the Lobster Linguine and Mussel Spaghetti for mains. Everything was amazing! But the start of the show was the strawberry cake! I could eat 20 of those!!! The serving team wS attentive and polite! A 5/5 experience.

This is an upscale(ish) restaurant in the tourist area of Catania. We showed up without reservation but they were able to seat us immediately. The staff is very polite and service was impeccable. The food was typical Italian fare, nothing spectacular. I ordered a fisherman's risotto which was supposed to have an assortment of seafood, but it was more of a rice mush with a collection of empty mussel shells on top. Tasty, though. This is a nice place to spend an evening with friends.

The service is friendly. I went alone and they suggest me to order seafood salad for the starter, and the Bandiera fish for the main course. Honestly the dishes are good but not impressed enough to worth of the price. This is my first meal in Catania, not sure the restaurant level in this city. Anyway, they offer a nice venue and make people can enjoy the foods

Wonderful food, its not a touristy place, it is a place many locals go to when they want to eat out. Tee service was lovely, they can speak very well english, and the food was wonderful. Fresh fresh seafood, simple traditional menu and a safe bet for a great authentic meal!

Fresh fish and nice service. We ate some grilled bass that we pointed out from the fish desk, setved with grilled veggies. Very unique fishes and crabs, also lobsters are available. For main course you should try the orange, fennel salat. Hmmm!! Thanks for serving us.
