Our hotel recommended Ristorante Il Bell’Antonio, and we’re so glad they did. This place felt genuinely authentic—no one standing outside trying to pull people in, just great Sicilian food and a relaxed atmosphere.
The seafood was incredibly fresh, and you could tell nothing was frozen. Every dish tasted like it was made with care. The pasta was cooked perfectly, exactly the way it should be. My wife ordered the curried chicken, which she really enjoyed, and it was a nice option alongside all the seafood.
If you’re in Catania and want authentic Sicilian cuisine without the tourist-trap feel, this is absolutely worth a visit. Friendly service, fresh ingredients, and a meal we’ll definitely remember.
