We came to the Abruzzo region of Italy, to eat arrosticini. The arrosticini was great, the melanzana was excellent, the pizza was disappointing. We love abruzzo!

Friendly service, nice food and a lovely garden outlook atmosphere.
They were able to cater for our gluten free friend which was great, and she said she enjoyed her meal.
I had the cacio e pepe, a very unique presentation, and I have to say it was very nice, much better than one I tried in Rome a couple of days ago.
My wife had the gnocchi and said it was very nice.
Honestly, delicious.
All ingredients were obviously fresh and treated with love, the pastas were amazing, appetizers and desserts great too. The restaurant is nice and cozy and the service really good.

I’ve been to Il Vecchio Muro several times and it never disappoints. Service is fast, professional and if they’re not too busy, your meal will be ready in minutes. Love the outdoor sitting in the summertime. I usually come for dinner. Reservations recommended during high season.

Really unfortunate that the service was so slow and forgetting. Many tables around us were getting pretty annoyed by it. I think some more personal is needed to save the place, don't cheap out on staff !! Came in for lunch at 1pm for a pasta dish and a coffee, came out past 3pm..
