The place seems cozy from the outside, and inside it's not bad, just crowded. There are no private booths. It's one long booth seat along the walls, a table and one or two or three seats added, if needed, to a small square, card game sized table, where you're practically connected to the next table. We asked to move next to the door, where two small same type of tables sat, one with two chairs and one with three, which was the one our party needed. It was better there, even though the entrance sits on the other side of the pony wall that separates that area from the people walking in/out, plus it's also right next to the cashier station, so there's kind of alot of traffic in the area. On the menu, we didn't see anything that advertised anything apple related, (as in the restaurants name), but we might've just missed it, so we went with traditional breakfasts, (eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns, country potatoes, pancakes, waffles, coffee). Nothing that blew us away, except the hair in my husband's hash browns plate. He didn't want to complain and send it back, so he just separated the contaminated potatoes, removed the hair, and ate the rest of his food. The pancakes/waffles weren't anything special, like other restaurants we've tried, and they gave very little syrup (smaller amount than from fast food restaurants), so they were a little dry. Coffee was very good though. We got the dark roast. The servers were all very friendly, checked up on us often, and never seemed bothered by anything we asked for, which was only extra napkins. I might give it a second chance, but I don't think it was worth what we paid. Maybe if I'm in the area, however I live about 45 minutes away, so it won't likely be any time soon.
