I read lots of reviews of Santi and knew exactly what to expect. Armed with the right expectations the experience was sublime. The service wasn’t exactly 5 star but it was certainly pleasant and friendly. It didn’t detract from the outcome at all. We got there early and chose to sit at the bar. Excellent choice as we had four wonderful tablemates - a real estate agent, a famous singer, a chef and a food photographer. Everyone was friendly and engaging like we were old friends. The food was superb. We ordered eight dishes and all were excellent. The best was the scallops, followed by the beef tartare. Instead of ordering wine or beer we chose a bottle of Sake. Excellent choice if I may say so myself! The restaurant is really is really special. The food is amazing, the atmosphere is buzzing, I will definitely return.

Absolutely incredible experience at this restaurant. The food, the atmosphere, and the service were all exceptional, and it truly made my time in the city unforgettable. As an American Jew visiting Israel, this place gave me such a warm and emotional feeling of connection and home. Everything was delicious and beautifully prepared, but what really touched me was the hospitality. A special thank you to Ido, the manager, whose kindness, care, and personal attention made us feel genuinely welcomed and looked after. This experience will stay with me, and I highly recommend this place to anyone coming to Tel Aviv.

Phenomenal place! We arrived for dinner, 3 ladies that love to eat :) We try different things on the menu and we absolutely loved each of the dishes that we try! The food is delicious and each dish is full of flavours and textures, you can tell that someone put alot of effort into dishes ,both creative combinations, ingredients and plating. Make sure u try thire dessert as well! Must say that the service is super friendly and very helpful.

Delicious food, but do NOT come here hungry. If you are planning to dine at Santi, my biggest advice is to eat a good hearty meal before you go. While the waiter gave us a heads-up that the dishes are "small to medium," that is a massive overstatement. Based on the food we had, the portions here are distinctively tiny. Every dish that came for to our table felt like a sample. Just a few bites at best. Feeling frustrated by the value for money, at least we got some good laughs while exchanging looks of disbelief with each dish that came to our table. The largest dish we got was a stack of mini cucumbers coated in yogurt with crunchy furikake. Which was the least expected to be the largest quantity of food. The Gruyère tortellini was delicious, but it would be more accurate to call the dish "Tortellino." There were maybe six tiny pieces on the plate. With every course, we were left wishing for more food, especially considering the high price tag on every single item. To top it off, the atmosphere didn't fit the price point. The background music was loud and felt like someone's random, uncurated playlist rather than a soundtrack designed for fine dining. Don't get me wrong, there were some good flavors, but dinning at Santi will make you wish for more or wondering what the hype is all about. If you had anything close to our experience you will leave starving and broke.

What an extraordinary dining experience! Every element, from the exquisite food to the impeccable atmosphere, was absolutely on point. Our dear friends, who are well-connected in the Tel Aviv food scene, highly recommended Santi as the perfect place to celebrate our 4th anniversary. Sitting at the chef's table was a true delight as we had the opportunity to witness the culinary artistry firsthand, watching the chefs skillfully prepare our dishes. We wholeheartedly recommend Santi to anyone seeking an upscale dining experience with a Japanese-inspired menu, do note that the prices reflect the premium dining experience.
