Gaijin Izakaya
---
In the spirit of the wave of izakayas that recently swept Tel Aviv, we arrived at Gaijin.
---
Although we settled in the outdoor and covered part of the place, a quick peek re
vealed to me that we missed out, the restaurant's space is breathtaking. The meticulous design and relaxed atmosphere create a unique experience.

The Dishes:
---
Tiger Shrimp Tempura: a dish that is a masterpiece. The shrimp rested on a bed of Tobanjan butter and ponzu with
touches of green onion. The butter was nothing short of wonderful – a burst of deep flavors that we simply didn't want to end (86 NIS).
---
🥢Denver Cut with Pickled Mushrooms: an excellent combination of quality meat alongside a refreshing salad of mushrooms, pears, and caramelized onion
ized in Yakiniku sauce. An exceptionally original dish (114 NIS).
---
🥢Duck Tsukune: rich duck kebab served on soft bread alongside an egg yolk on the side. A winning and delightful combination of textures (76 NIS).
